August – Visitor Round-up

Another month closes… and now we are entering Autumn! YAY!  ahem… excuse us… sorry… it’s our favourite time of year.

Scarlet Witch Wanda Maximoff – Cosplay Showcase

Hello all.  This Cosplay Tuesday we are happy to feature Devon Farra, a self-proclaimed ‘beginning‘ customer, but her intuition is beyond her apparent ‘actual’ cosplay-time. We are particularly enamoured with her dress, which she constructed herself, and from every photo, looks to be a great fabrication.

How she tackled ‘Wanda‘/’Scarlet Witch‘ from Avengers 2: Age of Ultron is a good-read and unique for anyone who wants to go down this path. Thank you Devon for sharing your experience with us.

Another release of our new re-cropped libraries.  This one is all photos of Scarlet Witch’s boots from Avengers 2 Age of Ultron.

Gallery – Red Pendant

Recently we went through our entire photo library and re-cropped ALL details for examination.  In doing so, we created many new libraries of each little detail in Wanda’s Avengers 2 costume.

Since we just recently highlighted great resources for obtaining a red oval kuchi coin pendant, we thought we’d publish our image library of all photos of this detail, in case it helps anyone.

We do not own any of these photos, and most sources have been lost over time.

Scarlet Witch Talon Ring

Another shout out to  MCU Fashion, they posted the identity of the ‘Talon Ring’ Wanda wears on her left-hand ring finger.

The ring is called Sterling Silver Bird Talon Ring from Pamela Love. It’s an open-style ‘wrap’ ring in the shape of a crow or raven foot.

The ring is available in 2 forms, gold and sterling silver.  In Avengers 2 Age of Ultron, Wanda wears the sterling silver ring.

Scarlet Witch Cosplay Showcase – Invincible Kiwi

Hello again.  This week for our Tuesday Cosplay Showcase, our volunteer comes from Florida, and she has an entire group of other cosplayers supporting her endeavour.

This week, we feature ‘Invicible Kiwi‘ who was able to be a part of a complete Avengers group and do something I’ve always been envious of… make children happy!

Scarlet Witch Earrings

Thanks to MCU Fashion, we have discovered what Scarlet Witch’s earrings are.

The earrings are made by Coops London. They are a specific type of ‘squeeze-on’ earring, consisting of a silver double loop that ‘hugs’ your earlobe.

The earrings are available in a variety of shapes (circles, bars, triangles, etc) and colours (gold, rose gold and silver).  For our purposes, it appears Scarlet Witch wears the following:

• Plain circle style
• Silver coloured
• Small Circles (10mm as opposed to ‘Original’ at 11mm)
